The crowd rose to their feet as Cornelius Baxter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ray Folwill. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Ray Folwill made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Camilo Ferrara sent off a good shot on target. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Augusto Maranhense in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhao Ran Ming saved Coventry Wasps from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Augusto Maranhense made a kick off. Ray Folwill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Ferrara, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Zhao Ran Ming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Zhan Shu in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Moyle in the 54th minute of play forced Ssc Napoli's goalkeeper Ray Folwill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Zack Doughty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coventry Wasps's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Doughty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Folwill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Cornelius Baxter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coventry Wasps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 80th minute Cheslav Veselov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Folwill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zack Doughty in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Folwill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Ferrara. Zhao Ran Ming came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Ssc Napoli's Mason McCann. But to his dismay, Mason McCann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Camilo Ferrara came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Coventry Wasps fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Ferrara couldn't finish the play. After 95 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Raf Vermaelen.
