Archie Greenwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Sissons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Kentucky Fried Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Martynas Timinskas came free, but Tomislav Strahija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kentucky Fried Wings's Tomislav Strahija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Saville in the 35th minute of play. Benard Ngamta kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Plaistow United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Key to maneuver through the defense. Tomislav Strahija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Saville in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kentucky Fried Wings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brynn McMahon was slow to take the kick. During this time Plaistow United's players had a chance to rest. After 87 played minutes Plaistow United got a freekick which was hit by Alf Key. 92 minutes into the game, Kentucky Fried Wings's Son van Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Sissons made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Kentucky Fried Wings were victorious despite being under pressure from Plaistow United for much of the match.
