Tommy Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kant Cooley in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Coventry Wasps booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. 蒋永川 didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atak Ferdi in the 33rd minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Baxter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Munroe to maneuver through the defense. Zhao Ran Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蒋永川, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zack Doughty hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Coventry Wasps's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pete Munroe in the 62nd minute. Coventry Wasps's Zhao Ran Ming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Coventry Wasps from getting a goal against them. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
