After a defensive mix-up in The Youth Project's zone, Alex Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Young came out of the goal and Alex Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 played minutes The Youth Project got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Metcalfe. Dave Legzdins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alex Macedo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lucas Young didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korona Kielce. After a rather tough play, Korona Kielce's Niculae Biriș got a free kick in the 94th minute. Niculae Biriș hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Korona Kielce players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Youth Project.
