Gary Kelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paijo Prima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Zinchenko made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cumhur Tanacan however managed to control. 21 minutes into the match, Harchester United's goalkeeper Gary Kelly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cumhur Tanacan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fan Sheng Yang in the 24th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Harchester United got a corner. Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Danny Farmer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Harchester United's Danny Farmer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lee Kerr in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rosero Rioja hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Fan Sheng Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paijo Prima came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gary Kelly could save by the left post. The Clapham Comets F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Harchester United were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paijo Prima was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Paijo Prima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gary Kelly was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Fidele got free with Lee Kerr in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gary Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paijo Prima in the 56th minute of the match. Lee Kerr made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Fan Sheng Yang sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute of the match, Emiliano Fidele tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lee Kerr saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th minute, Fan Sheng Yang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Harchester United's Konstanty Domalik was substituted for Randall Burton. In the 69thth minute of the game Paijo Prima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harchester United's Gary Kelly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
