Overpower FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Stenger ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Modernians's Kaur Kapten got control of the ball when Zdzislaw Motowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brett Hart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txema Cerbera in the 19th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Kaur Kapten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Kaur Kapten managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Overpower FC's Zdzislaw Motowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Modernians fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Modernians:s Kaur Kapten showed great skill when he stopped Marty Driver:s penalty. Kaur Kapten was a little too slow when Marty Driver got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Overpower FC booed when Modernians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qwinten Baele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Overpower FC made a substitution. Evelio Zárate replaced Thomas Trevilla. After 48 played minutes Modernians got a freekick which was hit by Qwinten Baele. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patryk Bykowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Patryk Bykowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modernians's Kaur Kapten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas Stenger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Brett Hart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Modernians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Lunt to maneuver through the defense. Kaur Kapten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Werner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Overpower FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olly May to maneuver through the defense. Kaur Kapten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olly May, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Txema Cerbera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Brett Hart made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Txema Cerbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brett Hart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Modernians booed when Overpower FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Werner didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Overpower FC had won after a very even match.
