The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thomas Trevilla took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Young. Lucas Young dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Trevilla came free, but Lucas Young reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademar Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Overpower FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Michelini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Michelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Young having to interfere. Overpower FC's Brett Hart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfie Chivers in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Youth Project's Jimmy Bartrup got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lucas Young didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Zárate went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Harry Colman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Brett Hart made a huge save. In the 46th minute of the match Overpower FC got a corner. The Youth Project's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evelio Zárate ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Overpower FC's Patryk Bykowski was substituted for Zdzislaw Motowski. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Lucas Young successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lucas Young made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Patryk Bykowski sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patryk Bykowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kieran Tully in the 63rd minute of play forced Overpower FC's goalkeeper Brett Hart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Zárate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lucas Young tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Michelini in the 70th minute of play. Lucas Young was a little too slow when Evelio Zárate got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 78th minute Niels Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Trevilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kieran Tully in the 84th minute of play forced Overpower FC's goalkeeper Brett Hart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Young made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Evelio Zárate sent off a good shot on target. Brett Hart came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by The Youth Project's Kieran Tully. But to his dismay, Kieran Tully quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Overpower FC played a much better game than The Youth Project and deserved their victory. The The Youth Project players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
