Gone With the Win
Spectators: 10850 (Terracing: 8139, Seating: 2495, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martyn Featherstone started the match with the kick off. Lucas Young made an important save on a dangerous shot by 苞 in the 4th minute. Lucas Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corey Taylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in The Youth Project's zone, Corey Taylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Young came out of the goal and Corey Taylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Martyn Featherstone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 苞 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Young having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keiran Tubbs. In the 28th minute of the match Gone With the Win got a corner. The Youth Project's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daud Kunaefi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lucas Young made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Corey Taylor sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute The Youth Project were awarded a corner. Alfie Chivers went to the cornerflag to take it. Dráuzio Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Featherstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Harry Colman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gone With the Win's Dráuzio Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Gone With the Win was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corey Taylor to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Featherstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keiran Tubbs hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Martyn Featherstone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dráuzio Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd match minute, Gone With the Win was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corey Taylor to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Gone With the Win's Dráuzio Mattos got control of the ball when Martyn Featherstone tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Daud Kunaefi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gone With the Win's supporters rose to their feet, but Daud Kunaefi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Young breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corey Taylor in the 56th minute of play. If Martyn Featherstone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfie Chivers in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio Mattos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alfie Chivers sped through Gone With the Win's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dráuzio Mattos. Martyn Featherstone let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 77th minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. With a little luck, Gone With the Win's Dráuzio Mattos got control of the ball when Martyn Featherstone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stew Sykes in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Gone With the Win's 苞 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Young made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Alfie Chivers's late challenge caught a Gone With the Win's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfie Chivers helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Youth Project getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alfie Chivers hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Youth Project eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
