Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rabah Zeghoudi started the match with the kick off. Souad Bensaoula hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yazid Tayebi got free with Dassi Ziani in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes, Walid Boulebda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockton-on-Tees and the Wisbech players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walid Boulebda kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Aydril Akvayli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aydril Akvayli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camel Touati having to interfere. Mounaim Guergour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Camel Touati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yazid Tayebi might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dassi Ziani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yazid Tayebi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Rabah Zeghoudi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dassi Ziani. The goal made the score 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mounaim Guergour was the one to do the kick off. Wisbech's Camel Touati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mounaim Guergour in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Mounaim Guergour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camel Touati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aydril Akvayli came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Stockton-on-Tees fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aydril Akvayli couldn't finish the play. Dassi Ziani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazid Tayebi in the 69th minute of play. Dassi Ziani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Zeghoudi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Said Mezghenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dassi Ziani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Stockton-on-Tees got a freekick which was hit by Walid Boulebda. Yazid Tayebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wisbech's Rabah Zeghoudi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rabah Zeghoudi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Wisbech fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rabah Zeghoudi couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Yazid Tayebi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dassi Ziani. Stockton-on-Tees's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yazid Tayebi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wisbech fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stockton-on-Tees had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
