Ketta Mecherara's late challenge caught a Stockton-on-Tees's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ketta Mecherara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Tatsfield City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ketta Mecherara to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Tatsfield City's goalkeeper Makhlouf Mérah-Benida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aydril Akvayli. Ketta Mecherara might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dassi Ziani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ketta Mecherara ran back to his position shaking his head. Boumedienne Belloumi charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boumedienne Belloumi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 22 minutes, Lotfi Otman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatsfield City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lotfi Otman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Tatsfield City's Bakdid Cherif sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dassi Ziani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chawki Zakaria kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tatsfield City's attack was well implemented in the 29th minute, but when Lotfi Otman was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 31 minutes, Lotfi Otman made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stockton-on-Tees's Dassi Ziani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute of the match Addas Bouchnak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dassi Ziani skillfully saved the ball. Wellen Hadji kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Makhlouf Mérah-Benida was a little too slow when Mounaim Guergour got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-2. If Mounaim Guergour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mounaim Guergour made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aydril Akvayli in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Makhlouf Mérah-Benida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute Lotfi Otman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dassi Ziani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aydril Akvayli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Makhlouf Mérah-Benida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Hamid Kouici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes, Aydril Akvayli made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tatsfield City's Makhlouf Mérah-Benida tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Aydril Akvayli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Makhlouf Mérah-Benida. Tatsfield City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aydril Akvayli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Aydril Akvayli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dassi Ziani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lotfi Otman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Stockton-on-Tees getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Souad Bensaoula hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lotfi Otman in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dassi Ziani saved Stockton-on-Tees from getting behind. Dassi Ziani made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Bakdid Cherif sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bakdid Cherif got free with Dassi Ziani in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Makhlouf Mérah-Benida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydril Akvayli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stockton-on-Tees's Dassi Ziani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lotfi Otman in the 94th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Aydril Akvayli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tatsfield City's Makhlouf Mérah-Benida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stockton-on-Tees had won after a very even match.
