In the 16th minute Amine Boniche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ishak Benida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was Mebarek Moussa who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofiane Zaoui in the 25th minute of play forced Waltham FC's goalkeeper Ishak Benida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Waltham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aflawas Arif to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Waltham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiane Zaoui came free, but Ishak Benida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilias Klouchi in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ishak Benida saved Waltham FC from getting behind. Ayachi Haddadj hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ashtead's zone, Ghumer Yacef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Younes Benbitour came out of the goal and Ghumer Yacef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Assim Reda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Younes Benbitour having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ghumer Yacef stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frawsen Hamruche kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Ghumer Yacef made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ashtead's Younes Benbitour tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ghumer Yacef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Younes Benbitour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 66 in the game by Ilias Klouchi from a close distance when the talented Ishak Benida managed to make a qualified save. Waltham FC's players were relieved. 68 minutes into the game, Ghumer Yacef cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Younes Benbitour was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Ashtead's Sofiane Zaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ishak Benida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Ghumer Yacef managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waltham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ghumer Yacef was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frawsen Hamruche hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Waltham FC's Ishak Benida got control of the ball when Ilias Klouchi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute Aflawas Arif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Younes Benbitour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ashtead's Malik Kadri got a free kick in the 95th minute. Waltham FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
