When Hilal Adjani fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botley City's protests and gave Hilal Adjani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Hilal Adjani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilias Klouchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rayan Lacen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azziz Oulhaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Younes Benbitour having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Sofiane Zaoui reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rayan Lacen. The goal made the score 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Azziz Oulhaci notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ashtead's Younes Benbitour. Younes Benbitour was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilias Klouchi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rayan Lacen made a huge save. Sofiane Zaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rayan Lacen having to interfere. In the 28th minute Sofiane Zaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rayan Lacen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ilias Klouchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Sofiane Zaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashtead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sofiane Zaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Amzar Abdelmoumene came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Botley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amzar Abdelmoumene couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Ammuch Bensaïd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Younes Benbitour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azziz Oulhaci in the 40th minute of the match. Amzar Abdelmoumene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Younes Benbitour having to interfere. Azziz Oulhaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Younes Benbitour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sofiane Zaoui was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofiane Zaoui in the 56th minute of play forced Botley City's goalkeeper Rayan Lacen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Amzar Abdelmoumene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Ilias Klouchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boualem Cavalli kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Botley City's goal looked a bit too open when Ilias Klouchi came free, but Rayan Lacen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofiane Zaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rayan Lacen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofiane Zaoui in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rayan Lacen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Botley City's Rayan Lacen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilias Klouchi in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Hadj Amara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mebarek Moussa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Botley City's goal looked a bit too open when Ayachi Haddadj came free, but Rayan Lacen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ashtead's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
