Said Hammani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacim Djaadaoui having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Karim Asma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamid Benguergoura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Chudleigh were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Douibi was the one to do the kick off. Chudleigh's Salah Ben Cherif got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chudleigh's Nacim Djaadaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Said Hammani in the 97th minute of play. Nacim Djaadaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Douibi in the 99th minute of the match. Hoddesdon were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
