Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmed Aïssaoui started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Arsan Merdaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hinckley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Midhurst the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Hinckley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsan Merdaci to maneuver through the defense. If Mokhtar Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelkader Boukhari kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mokhtar Bouteflika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hinckley getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nacer Hanin hit a great ball. Djamil Zane didn't quite understand what happened when in the 19 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Redha Sadaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Midhurst's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ahmed Aïssaoui fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hemza Abdiche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Aïssaoui in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mokhtar Bouteflika made a kick off. Mokhtar Bouteflika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Tahar Mérah-Benida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midhurst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahar Mérah-Benida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riad Harkati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mokhtar Bouteflika, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Toufik Guechtouli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Hinckley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boumedienne Beaufort to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Midhurst's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Aïssaoui came free, but Hemza Abdiche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Midhurst's Mokhtar Bouteflika dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Ahmed Aïssaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riad Harkati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tahar Mérah-Benida in the 79th minute. Midhurst's Mokhtar Bouteflika got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Midhurst's zone, Toufik Guechtouli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hemza Abdiche came out of the goal and Toufik Guechtouli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toufik Guechtouli in the 89th minute of play forced Midhurst's goalkeeper Hemza Abdiche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Aïssaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemza Abdiche having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
