A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Riad Harkati, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute, Harwich AFC's Fodil Bendjedid dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boudjemaa El Hadi during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Harwich AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudjemaa El Hadi to maneuver through the defense. If Toufik Guechtouli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boudjemaa El Hadi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Riad Harkati. Hinckley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ismaël Heddou charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismaël Heddou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Harwich AFC booed when Hinckley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismaël Heddou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodil Bendjedid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 45 played minutes, when Harwich AFC:s Haroun Jeanson calmly waited for Hinckley:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fodil Bendjedid to make the kick off. If Farid Mesli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toufik Guechtouli came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samir Horr could save by the left post. Samir Horr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bachir Mezghich in the 96th minute. Harwich AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
