Abdelhakim Riyah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rachid Benchenaa went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adza Larbi's late challenge caught a Birmingham Selly Oak FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adza Larbi helped the player get up and apologised. Rachid Benchenaa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dassi Yahi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Rachid Benchenaa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hemel Hempstead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Benchenaa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ales Mammeri came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hemel Hempstead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ales Mammeri couldn't finish the play. Ales Mammeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Abdelhakim Riyah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachid Benchenaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rachid Benchenaa in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdelhakim Riyah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adib El Maleh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Buzid Zidane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ales Mammeri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ales Mammeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hemel Hempstead's Liamine Chaouchi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abdelhakim Riyah but with some difficulty. Abdelhakim Riyah came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hemel Hempstead's Adza Larbi. But to his dismay, Adza Larbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 96th minute of the match Abdelmalek Mhenni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Buzid Zidane skillfully saved the ball. Hemel Hempstead's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
