Alveley's Abdellah Chaib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beddis Mediouna in the 18th minute of play. When Djabir Dziri, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Abdellah Chaib was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alveley's Lotfi Bougherra got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 24 played minutes Alveley got a freekick which was hit by Amellal Liegeon. When Kaddour Benhelal fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alveley's protests and gave Kaddour Benhelal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alveley's Kaddour Benhelal got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Beddis Mediouna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazir Harkouk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Abdellatif Diafat made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Congleton's Djabir Dziri got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Nazir Harkouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alveley's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazir Harkouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdellatif Diafat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Yahi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Nazir Harkouk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kaddour Benhelal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafik Kouidri hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Abdellatif Diafat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazir Harkouk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdellatif Diafat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazir Harkouk in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Congleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baddi Lkbira to maneuver through the defense. Congleton's Abdellatif Diafat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Yahi in the 69th minute of play. Mohamed Yahi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 played minutes, Alveley's Rabah Mesbah shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdellatif Diafat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alveley reached it. 81 minutes into the game, Ismael Menia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Congleton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alveley the free kick. The supporters of Alveley booed when Congleton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Menia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes Congleton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ilyes Reddad who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Alveley's corner Ilyes Reddad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abdellatif Diafat quite easily take care of the ball. Djabir Dziri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdellah Chaib having to make a save. Congleton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
