Hadi Douibi might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdessatar Aliche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hadi Douibi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismaïl Boukensa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Djafar Betroni made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Cirencester's goal looked a bit too open when Hatim Maillot came free, but Abdessatar Aliche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djafar Betroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azzouz Zerari in the 25th minute of play. Abdessatar Aliche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hatim Maillot, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Cirencester booed when Whitwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hatim Maillot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hassan Kharroubi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djafar Betroni having to interfere. After the first half Whitwell were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hadi Douibi was the one to do the kick off. If Hassan Kharroubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdessatar Aliche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadi Douibi in the 57th minute of the match. Hadi Douibi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Abdessatar Aliche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cirencester's Abdessatar Aliche got control of the ball when Hatim Maillot tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassan Kharroubi in the 69th minute of play forced Whitwell's goalkeeper Djafar Betroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hatim Maillot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute of the match Hamid Daoud shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Djafar Betroni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismaïl Boukensa in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Djafar Betroni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abderrachid Djaout hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Djafar Betroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Kharroubi in the 78th minute of the match. When Hassan Kharroubi came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cirencester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hassan Kharroubi couldn't finish the play. If Hassan Kharroubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismaïl Boukensa scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Djafar Betroni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Cirencester's goalkeeper Abdessatar Aliche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hatim Maillot. Whitwell's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
