Rachid Tahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi Douibi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Whitwell booed when Wallasey AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Houssem Radjef didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djafar Betroni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hadj Djamel's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Hatim Maillot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reda Maghili hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Rachid Tahar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hadi Douibi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Wallasey AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Houssem Radjef to maneuver through the defense.
