Salah Djenane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dida Dennane in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salah Djenane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26thth minute of the game Dida Dennane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashford's Salah Djenane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, one of Ashford:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dida Dennane struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Salah Djenane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hickling. 34 minutes into the match, Hickling's goal looked a bit too open when Nasserredine Zidane came free, but Abdel Belhadj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Nasserredine Zidane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdel Belhadj. Hickling's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nasserredine Zidane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nasserredine Zidane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sid Ahmed Cherif's late challenge caught a Hickling's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sid Ahmed Cherif helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ashford's Sid Ahmed Cherif got a free kick in the 57th minute. Hickling's Abdel Belhadj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azziz Boumedienne in the 65th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Hickling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belkheir Saïd-Guerni to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Hickling's goal looked a bit too open when Nasserredine Zidane came free, but Abdel Belhadj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nasserredine Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abdel Belhadj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madin Mezair kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hickling's zone, Nasserredine Zidane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Belhadj came out of the goal and Nasserredine Zidane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Hickling's goal looked a bit too open when Nasserredine Zidane came free, but Abdel Belhadj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, Ashford's Nasserredine Zidane made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdel Belhadj was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdel Belhadj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Azziz Boumedienne went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Ashford's goalkeeper Salah Djenane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dida Dennane.
