Spectators: 6750 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fahd Aribi started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Fahd Aribi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amir Badis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aberkane Bella came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Thamesmead's Samir Korteby. But to his dismay, Samir Korteby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Abderrahim Ben Arfa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aberkane Bella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smail Sifi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amir Badis having to interfere. Nailsworth's Aberkane Bella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrahim Ben Arfa in the 15th minute of play. Aberkane Bella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderrahim Ben Arfa in the 17th minute of play. When Djallil Benhelal fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thamesmead's protests and gave Djallil Benhelal a yellow card for diving instead. Djallil Benhelal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A hard shot 22 in the game by Smail Sifi from a close distance when the talented Amir Badis managed to make a qualified save. Thamesmead's players were relieved. In the 27th minute, Samir Korteby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Samir Korteby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Thamesmead getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sabri Zaghloul hit a great ball. Smail Sifi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Amir Badis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aberkane Bella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samir Korteby's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nailsworth's zone, Abderrahim Ben Arfa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aberkane Bella came out of the goal and Abderrahim Ben Arfa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, one of Nailsworth:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Nailsworth players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thamesmead were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samir Korteby was the one to do the kick off. Aberkane Bella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Korteby in the 55th minute of play. Zoheir Maouch charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoheir Maouch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zoheir Maouch hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Sabri Zaghloul didn't quite understand what happened when in the 63 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slimane Zenati during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Slimane Zenati kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Afennich Tellidji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abderrahim Ben Arfa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djallil Benhelal was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 78th match minute, Thamesmead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djallil Benhelal to maneuver through the defense. Slimane Zenati got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Smail Sifi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Nailsworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Smail Sifi couldn't finish the play. After 92 played minutes Thamesmead got a freekick which was hit by Samir Korteby. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Thamesmead walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
