Prudhoe's Ahmed Morceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalida Djazouli in the 19th minute of play. Boubaker Kacha scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chams Bilal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 26 minutes, Adid Sabati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prudhoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adid Sabati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khalida Djazouli in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Morceli saved Prudhoe from getting behind. Liversedge FC's Chams Bilal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aberkane Touati in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aberkane Touati to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khalida Djazouli in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmed Morceli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Khalida Djazouli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ahmed Morceli made a huge save. Chams Bilal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aberkane Touati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
