After some careless play in the Gomersal AFC defense, Oualid Reddad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amine Saboundji. The Gomersal AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amine Saboundji should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Boubekeur in the 75th minute of play forced Brigg AFC's goalkeeper Djamel Maâti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brigg AFC's goalkeeper Djamel Maâti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brigg AFC's Aylan Maghili got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Aylan Maghili off the ground. Djamel Maâti came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Gomersal AFC's Karim Boubekeur. But to his dismay, Karim Boubekeur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 94 minutes, Hamza Bouguerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brigg AFC and the Gomersal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamza Bouguerra kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Gomersal AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
