Chafik Meriem took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allal Zaghouane. Allal Zaghouane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Fairfield FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kacem Boulmerka hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fairfield FC's Allal Zaghouane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bazil Kouri in the 52nd minute of play. When Boumedienne Benmabrouk fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fairfield FC's protests and gave Boumedienne Benmabrouk a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Fairfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Boumedienne Benmabrouk. Kamel Hanin might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jawed Mami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jawed Mami, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 69 minutes, Ziane Hamruche made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side.
