Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Hexham's Badr Cixous started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdel Fanon hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Badr Cixous took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salah Zarabi. Salah Zarabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Badr Cixous had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salah Zarabi. Carterton AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Badr Cixous was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Chamseddine El Ouazzani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Abdellah Kerfali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carterton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdellah Kerfali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Raïs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Abdelghafour Mezdad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hexham's Abdel Raïs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carterton AFC's Salah Zarabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Driss Ihaddaden in the 20th minute of play. Abdel Raïs made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Abdellah Kerfali sent off a good shot on target. Hexham's Driss Ihaddaden got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdellah Kerfali might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdel Raïs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdellah Kerfali ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdel Raïs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelghafour Mezdad in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelghafour Mezdad in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdel Raïs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdelghafour Mezdad made a kick off. Abdelghafour Mezdad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Raïs having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Carterton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makhloufi Fadela to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Said Brahimi from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Salah Zarabi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Badr Cixous in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salah Zarabi saved Carterton AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Mohamed Zaccari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carterton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Zaccari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Raïs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chamseddine El Ouazzani had several of the Carterton AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Salah Zarabi as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 67th minute Abdelghafour Mezdad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Raïs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramdane Oussar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Badr Cixous fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Zarabi having to interfere. The supporters of Carterton AFC booed when Hexham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Badr Cixous didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Zaccari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Badr Cixous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Hexham's Badr Cixous sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salah Zarabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chamseddine El Ouazzani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Salah Zarabi made a huge save. Abdellah Kerfali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Abdel Raïs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelghafour Mezdad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Raïs having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hexham walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
