He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mill Hill reached it. In the 10th minute, Djamil Aflelou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramzi Benguesmia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ezzouaoui in the 18th minute of the match. Khalida Benzine struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Abid Zarabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guildford. If Chawki Bedjaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mill Hill's zone, Khalida Benzine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abid Zarabi came out of the goal and Khalida Benzine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mekki Sermadji to strike the kick off in the second half. Mekki Sermadji's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramzi Benguesmia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Khalida Benzine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abid Zarabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khalida Benzine's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Sami Guergour might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramzi Benguesmia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sami Guergour ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramzi Benguesmia made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mekki Sermadji sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Guildford getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Abdel Hamid Harkati hit a great ball. Mekki Sermadji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramzi Benguesmia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mekki Sermadji went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the game, Mekki Sermadji lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Ramzi Benguesmia. Mekki Sermadji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mekki Sermadji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Benguesmia having to interfere. The Mill Hill players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
