Meldreth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spaxton City the free kick. A collision led to Meldreth getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Zine-Eddine Mamouni hit a great ball. Cherif Teissier's late challenge caught a Spaxton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cherif Teissier helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Meldreth's Cherif Teissier got a free kick in the 7th minute. Spaxton City's Hassan Hansali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zine-Eddine Mamouni in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Mohammed Abdelghani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spaxton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohammed Abdelghani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Hassan Hansali successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yacine Kensi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Omar Tahar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meldreth's Omar Tahar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yacine Kensi in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Meldreth getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Zidan Aribi hit a great ball. If Yacine Kensi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Meldreth's Hamza Messali slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hassan Hansali. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. If Zine-Eddine Mamouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Spaxton City's Frawsen Benzine got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamza Messali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cherif Teissier hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Hassan Hansali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zine-Eddine Mamouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Meldreth's Zine-Eddine Mamouni made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hassan Hansali was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hamza Messali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cherif Teissier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan Hansali having to interfere. Hamza Messali might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hassan Hansali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamza Messali ran back to his position shaking his head. Yacine Kensi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hassan Hansali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zine-Eddine Mamouni in the 91st minute of the match.
