Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camil Amrouche started the match with the kick off. Camil Amrouche might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azziz Deghmani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camil Amrouche ran back to his position shaking his head. When Taunton's Akar Mohand in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Old Leake's goalie prevented a goal. Akar Mohand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Chahid Laref tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Old Leake defense, Gebril Dahar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chahid Laref. The Old Leake fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chahid Laref should have stopped the shot. Old Leake's Chahid Laref played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gebril Dahar in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute Camil Amrouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azziz Deghmani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Taunton's Ahaszzi Halimi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Taunton's zone, Camil Amrouche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azziz Deghmani came out of the goal and Camil Amrouche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes Taunton got a freekick which was hit by Nadji Betroni. 36 minutes into the match, Old Leake's Zoheir Saïd broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Camil Amrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahaszzi Halimi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Sayed Piaf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Azziz Deghmani. Sayed Piaf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Old Leake's goal looked a bit too open when Akar Mohand came free, but Chahid Laref reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akar Mohand made a kick off. Jabar Douadi's late challenge caught a Taunton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jabar Douadi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Jabar Douadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chahid Laref made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gebril Dahar sent off a good shot on target. Gebril Dahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chahid Laref having to interfere. Gebril Dahar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Chahid Laref 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camil Amrouche in the 85th minute of play forced Taunton's goalkeeper Azziz Deghmani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sayed Piaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Taunton supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Taunton would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
