Abdel Zouba guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Weaverham City's Farid Mezdad got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Bishop Auckland's Bassim Malek got control of the ball when Daniel Reda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fouad Damardji managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bishop Auckland's supporters rose to their feet, but Fouad Damardji was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Zouba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 61st minute, Daniel Reda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nadir Zughba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Abdel Zouba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Achir Kazi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bishop Auckland's Bassim Malek didn't even have to move. Nadir Zughba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Zouba having to interfere. Nadir Zughba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Abdel Zouba made a huge save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
