Fouad Damardji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Truro United's Fouad Ayachi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Truro United from getting a goal against them. Bassim Malek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afalawas Bentifour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afalawas Bentifour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Rahal Benida collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 19 minutes, Sabri Brahmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Truro United and the Bishop Auckland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sabri Brahmi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Nadir Zughba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fouad Ayachi having to interfere. Afalawas Bentifour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bassim Malek having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Billel Izghen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bassim Malek was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Nadir Zughba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afalawas Bentifour in the 35th minute of play forced Bishop Auckland's goalkeeper Bassim Malek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afalawas Bentifour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bassim Malek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Billel Izghen to make the kick off. Chedli Djaadaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Djamel Hadjar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fouad Ayachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chedli Djaadaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Afalawas Bentifour did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Bassim Malek 67 minutes into the match. When Billel Izghen came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Truro United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billel Izghen couldn't finish the play. If Billel Izghen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the game, Billel Izghen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bassim Malek. Billel Izghen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 87 minutes into the game, Fouad Mecherara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Truro United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bishop Auckland the free kick. The supporters of Bishop Auckland booed when Truro United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fouad Mecherara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Truro United's Soltani Ali got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Nadir Zughba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fouad Ayachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match Fouad Mecherara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bassim Malek skillfully saved the ball. Truro United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
