In the 37th minute Mansour Benyamina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Zouaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aszar Nemchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lounes Saâdallah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lounes Saâdallah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aszar Nemchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With 56 minutes on the clock, Moïse Ziri commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Amar Zouaoui went to the wrong direction when Tahar Abdelcrim was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stockbridge fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chorley AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
