In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Loughborough's goalkeeper Ammar Meriem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Loughborough's goal looked a bit too open when Afalawas Halouadji came free, but Ammar Meriem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Loughborough getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Amawal Ayad hit a great ball. If Lunis Hamid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ammar Meriem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afalawas Halouadji's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Amawal Ayad charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amawal Ayad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Loughborough got a freekick which was hit by Amawal Ayad. In the 21st minute Lunis Hamid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ammar Meriem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mourad Chedda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yanis Belaout in the 23rd minute. Lunis Hamid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ammar Meriem having to interfere. When Boubaker Bencherif fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coleshill FC's protests and gave Boubaker Bencherif a yellow card for diving instead. Boubaker Bencherif hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Yanis Belaout in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mourad Chedda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th match minute, Coleshill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lounès Salah to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, Loughborough's Madjer Boulebda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mourad Chedda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Madjer Boulebda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mourad Chedda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Madjer Boulebda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes, Salah Bouguerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coleshill FC and the Loughborough players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Coleshill FC! If Boubaker Bencherif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Madjer Boulebda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mourad Chedda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Yanis Belaout struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Mourad Chedda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loughborough. Loughborough's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
