Plumstead City's Hamid Boukhari got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Abdelbassir Fetani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anouar Betroni was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Baheyyi Hanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Abdel Cherif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 17th minute Plumstead City's Hachem Saïd took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Nacer Benhabiles and thus the score was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamid Boukhari during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Hamid Boukhari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Plumstead City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelatif Zaghrani to maneuver through the defense. Fordham's Abdelbassir Fetani got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Fordham's zone, Baheyyi Hanin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nacer Benhabiles came out of the goal and Baheyyi Hanin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Plumstead City booed when Fordham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdel Cherif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hachem Saïd, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Hamid Boukhari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Baheyyi Hanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anouar Betroni was a little too slow when Abdelbassir Fetani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Baheyyi Hanin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelbassir Fetani to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Khalida Kerrache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anouar Betroni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamid Boukhari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacer Benhabiles having to interfere. Anouar Betroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelbassir Fetani in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Plumstead City's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelbassir Fetani came free, but Anouar Betroni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalida Kerrache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jawed Fergani charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jawed Fergani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Fordham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jawed Fergani to maneuver through the defense. Baheyyi Hanin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nacer Benhabiles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Plumstead City's Nacer Benhabiles threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hamid Boukhari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abdelhani Amirouche kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Abdelbassir Fetani struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Anouar Betroni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fordham. Khalida Kerrache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Anouar Betroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anouar Betroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalida Kerrache in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Plumstead City got a freekick which was hit by Yassine Cherrad. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
