An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Ammour in the 29th minute of play forced Waterlooville FC's goalkeeper Afellan Sakrani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Houd Kraouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afellan Sakrani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Abdellah Cavalli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Akatelaji Abdelkrim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hickling's goalkeeper Akatelaji Abdelkrim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Rachid Ammour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hickling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Ammour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdellah Cavalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Akatelaji Abdelkrim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdellah Cavalli made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdellah Cavalli in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akatelaji Abdelkrim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bachir Tahar struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Akatelaji Abdelkrim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waterlooville FC. Arsalane Bey kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Waterlooville FC's Bachir Tahar got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akatelaji Abdelkrim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdellah Cavalli in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hickling's Zakaria Bendali got a free kick in the 75th minute. Akatelaji Abdelkrim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdellah Cavalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bachir Tahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Ammour hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hickling's Arsalane Abdelkrim got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Waterlooville FC fully deserved thier win.
