A collision led to Waterlooville FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Safy Fekhardji hit a great ball. When Bachir Tahar came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Waterlooville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bachir Tahar couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Abdellah Cavalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amir Mohamed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdellah Cavalli in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amir Mohamed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdellah Cavalli to make the kick off. Amir Mohamed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdellah Cavalli in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Cavalli in the 53rd minute of play forced Swanmore's goalkeeper Amir Mohamed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Swanmore's Hicham Saïdi-Sief nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Swanmore's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
