The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slimane Dahleb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Abdechahid Hamdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toufik Zaoui in the 6th minute of play forced North Petherton FC's goalkeeper Abdechahid Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdechahid Hamdani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slimane Dahleb in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toufik Zaoui in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdechahid Hamdani saved North Petherton FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abderrahmane Beaufort in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Djillali Rezzag saved Heckmondwike City from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match, Slimane Dahleb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abdechahid Hamdani was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After taking down the ball on Heckmondwike City's corner Daniel Sami fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abdechahid Hamdani quite easily take care of the ball. Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Abderrahmane Beaufort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djillali Rezzag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abderrahmane Beaufort's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Djillali Rezzag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, one of North Petherton FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for North Petherton FC. Daniel Sami walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, North Petherton FC's Adel Cherif got a free kick in the 38th minute. Slimane Dahleb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. North Petherton FC's Abdechahid Hamdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toufik Zaoui in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the North Petherton FC defense, Slimane Dahleb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdechahid Hamdani. The North Petherton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdechahid Hamdani should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Abdechahid Hamdani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toufik Zaoui in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Abderrahmane Beaufort got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 59th minute Toufik Zaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdechahid Hamdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Djillali Rezzag when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Toufik Zaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Heckmondwike City getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Daniel Sami hit a great ball. Heckmondwike City's Djillali Rezzag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Heckmondwike City from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Abderrahmane Beaufort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Djillali Rezzag was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Slimane Dahleb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heckmondwike City's goalkeeper Djillali Rezzag, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camel Chaffaï in the 93rd minute of play forced Heckmondwike City's goalkeeper Djillali Rezzag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched North Petherton FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
