Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sid Ahmed Madjer in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maamar Assous prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rayan Arouaba charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Mustapha Boukensa came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Stowmarket fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustapha Boukensa couldn't finish the play. Otterham FC's Jawed Ouennadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalida Amraoui in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
