Amjad Abdelcrim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bouzid Moll in the 10th minute of the match. Rabah Rimitti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadel Kholt having to interfere. If Rabah Rimitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amjad Abdelcrim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bouzid Moll, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Amjad Abdelcrim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Hamid Arrache, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Bouzid Moll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abdel Hamid Arrache made the kick off in the second half. Abdel Hamid Arrache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amjad Abdelcrim having to interfere. When Amir Amrouni fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altrincham United's protests and gave Amir Amrouni a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Altrincham United got a freekick which was hit by Amir Amrouni. 58 minutes into the game, Fayçal Zidane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altrincham United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leominster the free kick. In the 58th minute, Fayçal Zidane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdel Hamid Arrache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Amjad Abdelcrim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute of the match Abdelghafour Sadmi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amjad Abdelcrim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Altrincham United's Rabah Rimitti made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fadel Kholt was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Abdel Hamid Arrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Bouzid Moll got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Altrincham United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Leominster had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
