Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) Honiton FC's Fahim Cixous started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Atmane Djeballi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Cheltenham's Ramdane Ighil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabri Benyagoub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Fahim Cixous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aras Redouane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahim Cixous, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cheltenham's Aras Redouane got control of the ball when Said Sadaoui tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fahim Cixous, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aras Redouane was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fahim Cixous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Merouane Abdenouz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofyane Moussa, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bouzid Taâllah kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cheltenham's Antar Tobbal got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes in the game, Said Sadaoui fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aras Redouane having to interfere. Badreddine Kholt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fahim Cixous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atmane Djeballi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cheltenham's goal looked a bit too open when Said Sadaoui came free, but Aras Redouane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Said Sadaoui took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aras Redouane. Aras Redouane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cheltenham's Aras Redouane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahim Cixous in the 56th minute of play. Fahim Cixous received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aras Redouane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramdane Ighil charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramdane Ighil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramdane Ighil kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Antar Tobbal notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Honiton FC's Sabri Benyagoub. Sabri Benyagoub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honiton FC's goalkeeper Sabri Benyagoub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Cheltenham's goal looked a bit too open when Fahim Cixous came free, but Aras Redouane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ramdane Ighil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Sofyane Moussa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aras Redouane skillfully saved the ball. Aras Redouane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahim Cixous, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Atmane Djeballi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cheltenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atmane Djeballi couldn't finish the play. Cheltenham's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
