In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heybridge City's goalkeeper Abdellatif Salhi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lili Akrour in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaddour Hadjar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tavistock's Kaddour Hadjar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Tavistock from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Redouane Aribi in the 31st minute of play forced Heybridge City's goalkeeper Abdellatif Salhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slimane Ferrah in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdellatif Salhi saved Heybridge City from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Heybridge City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amellal Guendouz to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Redouane Aribi made a precise shot to the right of Abdellatif Salhi. Heybridge City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boualem Kherchi in the 37th minute of play forced Tavistock's goalkeeper Kaddour Hadjar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Redouane Aribi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdellatif Salhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdellatif Salhi came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tavistock's Slimane Ferrah. But to his dismay, Slimane Ferrah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Malek Raho charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malek Raho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Boualem Kherchi could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Kaddour Hadjar however easily saved by the left post.

Kaddour Hadjar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lili Akrour in the 57th minute of the match. Kaddour Hadjar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lili Akrour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lili Akrour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lili Akrour might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaddour Hadjar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lili Akrour ran back to his position shaking his head. Lili Akrour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaddour Hadjar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Kaddour Hadjar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boualem Kherchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Heybridge City booed when Tavistock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Redouane Aribi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lili Akrour in the 89th minute of play forced Tavistock's goalkeeper Kaddour Hadjar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slimane Ferrah hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Othmane Zaâmoucha's late challenge caught a Heybridge City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Othmane Zaâmoucha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Othmane Zaâmoucha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tavistock had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
