North Shields's Nouara Djeballi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samir Mamouni in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in North Shields's zone, Tayeb Benguesmia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nouara Djeballi came out of the goal and Tayeb Benguesmia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to North Shields getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Farid Adjani hit a great ball. Ilias Fechtali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toufik Khorci having to interfere. The wind increased when Tayeb Benguesmia made the kick off in the second half. Faouzi Alemdar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toufik Khorci having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayeb Benguesmia in the 56th minute of play forced North Shields's goalkeeper Nouara Djeballi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tayeb Benguesmia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nouara Djeballi was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Sofiane Louahla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Toufik Khorci quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Samir Mamouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. North Shields's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tayeb Benguesmia 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bishop Auckland United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
