The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavendon's goalkeeper Merouane Bourbon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hosni Adjani struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Merouane Bourbon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilford. In the 8th minute, Hatim Ferrah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Ilford's goal looked a bit too open when Hakim Zughba came free, but Akatelaji Mazari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmil Raho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akatelaji Mazari having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Lavendon's Asmil Raho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akatelaji Mazari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Asmil Raho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilford's Hosni Adjani got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Athmane Benzaghou kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Asmil Raho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akatelaji Mazari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asmil Raho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abderrahmane Kourichi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Akatelaji Mazari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim Zughba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th match minute, Ilford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderrahmane Kourichi to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

56 minutes into the match, Lavendon's goal looked a bit too open when Hatim Ferrah came free, but Merouane Bourbon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Asmil Raho sped through Ilford's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Akatelaji Mazari. In the 71st minute, Abderrahmane Kourichi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merouane Bourbon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hatim Ferrah, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Asmil Raho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hosni Adjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Akatelaji Mazari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavendon. The supporters of Lavendon booed when Ilford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amine Faudel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lavendon had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
