After 23 played minutes Sutton Valence United got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Rezzag. After recieving a nice pass, Barnham's Hamid Damardji tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Faouzi Larbes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sutton Valence United's Yassine Guendouz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th match minute, Sutton Valence United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billel Dhahhak to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton Valence United's zone, Faouzi Larbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yassine Guendouz came out of the goal and Faouzi Larbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the game, Mokhtar Akvayli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Boubekeur Dhahhak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th match minute, Sutton Valence United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billel Dhahhak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafid Madjer in the 42nd minute of play forced Barnham's goalkeeper Boubekeur Dhahhak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adid Djenias short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Yassine Guendouz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faouzi Larbes to make the kick off. Mokhtar Akvayli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hafid Madjer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 73rd playminute. Hafid Madjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
