In the 12th minute, Khaled Saâdi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Addlestone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Addlestone's goal looked a bit too open when Afaghis Ziani came free, but Malek Sennaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Addlestone's Malek Sennaoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Addlestone from getting a goal against them. Bakezda Aggoune sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Khaled Saâdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hocine Belkhadem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Malek Sennaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farid Abdelkrim charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Farid Abdelkrim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 minutes of play, Addlestone's Bakezda Aggoune made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Akatelaji Kharroubi was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afaghis Ziani to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Akatelaji Kharroubi managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Addlestone's Bakezda Aggoune fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Ashburton FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Farid Abdelkrim hit a great ball. After 58 minutes, Bakezda Aggoune mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Addlestone and the Ashburton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Akatelaji Kharroubi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bakezda Aggoune in the 60th minute. Akatelaji Kharroubi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaled Saâdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Khaled Saâdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ashburton FC's zone, Bakezda Aggoune stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akatelaji Kharroubi came out of the goal and Bakezda Aggoune tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Driss Sandjak's late challenge caught a Ashburton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Driss Sandjak helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Addlestone's Driss Sandjak got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Bouabdellah Merdaci sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Addlestone's Malek Sennaoui didn't even have to move. The Addlestone supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Addlestone would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
