Barnet United's Ghanim Saïb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Barnet United from getting a goal against them. Ghanim Saïb made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Zoheir Mezdad sent off a good shot on target.

Ghanim Saïb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Zoheir Mezdad came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Stockwell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoheir Mezdad couldn't finish the play. Barnet United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
