Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florian Zidane kicked off to start the match. The shot was stopped by Riad Sebihi but with some difficulty. 11 minutes into the game, Mohamed Bachdjerrah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kennington FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shrewsbury the free kick. A collision led to Kennington FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mohamed Bachdjerrah hit a great ball. Riad Sebihi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Zafour in the 17th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Samir Zafour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Riad Sebihi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Shrewsbury defense, Lyazzide Firoud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giss Baltadji. The Shrewsbury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giss Baltadji should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Zafour in the 33rd minute of play forced Kennington FC's goalkeeper Riad Sebihi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyazzide Firoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Redouane Hamrouche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41stth minute of the game Lyazzide Firoud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shrewsbury's Giss Baltadji was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Riad Sebihi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samir Zafour, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Shrewsbury were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Kennington FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adid Zeghbouche took the corner. The corner led Shrewsbury's Maamar Benhamou to fire away a dangerous shot which Riad Sebihi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samir Zafour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Riad Sebihi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyazzide Zahouania in the 53rd minute of play. Samir Zafour scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Riad Sebihi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samir Zafour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Riad Sebihi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kennington FC's Jawed El Kettani got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Florian Zidane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giss Baltadji made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lyazzide Firoud in the 91st minute. If Florian Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
