North Fambridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lyes Lamine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdelghafour Moll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akar Dhyab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grange-over-Sands FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after North Fambridge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hocine Mazi took the corner. In the 17th match minute, Grange-over-Sands FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amzun Abrika to maneuver through the defense.
