Nassim Semghouns short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Toufik Daouadji to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Moulay Benguedoudj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroun Bridji's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroun Bridji in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moulay Benguedoudj saved Welford from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Welford's goal looked a bit too open when Azregh Maâti came free, but Moulay Benguedoudj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azregh Maâti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moulay Benguedoudj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Kheireddine Badis struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Moulay Benguedoudj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramsgate United. Moulay Benguedoudj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azregh Maâti in the 32nd minute of play. Haroun Bridji blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moulay Benguedoudj having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Welford's Nassim Semghoun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toufik Daouadji narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Azregh Maâti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45th play minutes Kacem Benzine shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Toufik Daouadji and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Ramsgate United booed when Welford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menad Ghennouchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Ramsgate United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Kheireddine Badis hit a great ball. Khaldoun Benyamina's late challenge caught a Ramsgate United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khaldoun Benyamina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, one of Welford:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Welford. When Giss Toumi fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Welford's protests and gave Giss Toumi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ramsgate United booed when Welford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giss Toumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Ramsgate United's Abdelmoumen Boudiaf broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Toufik Daouadji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nassim Semghoun in the 80th minute of the match. Kacem Benzine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Toufik Daouadji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Nassim Semghoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toufik Daouadji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Welford's goalkeeper Moulay Benguedoudj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
