Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Akar Athbedj started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Newton Abbot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hachemi Zidane to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes Chinnor got a freekick which was hit by Larbi Khendu. Chinnor's Abdellah Salhi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Bouzid Firoud fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinnor's protests and gave Bouzid Firoud a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Bouzid Firoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Chinnor's goal looked a bit too open when Sid Ahmed Bourebbou came free, but Ibrahim Aribi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibrahim Aribi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Ahmed Bourebbou in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Newton Abbot's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdellah Salhi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Akar Athbedj sped through Newton Abbot's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zaïm Ali. Abdellah Salhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaïm Ali having to interfere. Hachemi Zidane hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Abdellah Salhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Akar Athbedj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zaïm Ali. Newton Abbot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akar Athbedj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 33 minutes into the game, Fergani Dhyab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newton Abbot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chinnor the free kick. After 34 minutes of play, Chinnor's Abdellah Salhi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zaïm Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Farouk Ezzouaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ibrahim Aribi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zaïm Ali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akar Athbedj in the 43rd minute. Zaïm Ali was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Akar Athbedj showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sid Ahmed Bourebbou made a kick off. Ibrahim Aribi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Ahmed Bourebbou in the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Farouk Ezzouaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newton Abbot's supporters rose to their feet, but Farouk Ezzouaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibrahim Aribi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sid Ahmed Bourebbou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ibrahim Aribi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Akar Athbedj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newton Abbot's Zaïm Ali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Akar Athbedj struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Zaïm Ali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinnor. If Akar Athbedj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Farouk Ezzouaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdellah Salhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Zaïm Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Salhi in the 90th minute of play forced Newton Abbot's goalkeeper Zaïm Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farouk Ezzouaoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ibrahim Aribi made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Newton Abbot players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chinnor.
