Madjer Djamel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes, Rayan Guergour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calne City and the Ellesmere Port players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Calne City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayan Guergour to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Calne City's Rayan Guergour got a free kick in the 18th minute. Madjer Djamel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdellah Mammeri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calne City's Madjer Djamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkam Merah in the 21st minute of play. A hard shot by Zahir Amsallem from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Madjer Djamel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Amellal Cixous received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Madjer Djamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Calne City's Rayan Guergour got a free kick in the 34th minute. Calne City's Madjer Djamel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Calne City from getting a goal against them. Ismaïl Chebli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjer Djamel having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lotfi Bedroni to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ellesmere Port's zone, Achraf Nima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Kraïche came out of the goal and Achraf Nima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achraf Nima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Karim Kraïche made a huge save. Zineddine Souibes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Rayan Guergour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karim Kraïche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lotfi Bedroni's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Achraf Nima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Karim Kraïche made a huge save. Karim Kraïche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Achraf Nima went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the game, Calne City's Achraf Nima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karim Kraïche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ellesmere Port's Karim Kraïche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lotfi Bedroni in the 82nd minute of play. Raïd Belmadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farouk Fanon charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Farouk Fanon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Calne City getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Farouk Fanon hit a great ball. The Calne City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calne City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
